"Ascent Fountain honors service to community.  It speaks to the accomplishment of goals, as well as the motivating and mentoring or others.  The soaring eagles symbolize the synergies that lift and encourage the aspirations of others. The lone eagle represents the difference one person can make by mentoring, encouraging and motivating others with dedicated service to family, community and nation.  Ken Slipka, by his exemplary achievements in all of these areas, was the inspiration for Ascent Fountain." Our current project Homage pays tribute to the dedication, sacrifice and bravery of our first responders.  This sculpture, commissioned and paid for by the Burnsville Community Foundation and it's donors, will be placed in the courtyard in front of the new police department at Burnsville's City Hall.

This $175,000 life size, bronze sculpture created by Mary Pat Fay Lutz, will be unveiled and gifted to the city this fall.  This important monument will stand to pay HOMAGE to our first responder's, today and for generations to come.  Please help us reach our goal by donating today!
